Absolutely incredible...

First of all, kudos to Steven Lim and Max Mao for their ingenuity and hard work! That was one of the best flash series I have ever seen! The graphics weren't perfect, and there were a few typos in the caption text, but the plot more than made up for that. I love the fact that you gave all of the characters depth and background, so they weren't just flat "good guy" or "bad guy." The storyline was great, there were some twists in the plot that really made it interesting. The flashes of humor now and then weren't too bad either :) All in all, t'was a magnificent piece of work. Good job you guys!

Has potential...

Well, I can't say that it was great flash. When you compare it to some of the others out there, it would be considered sorely lacking. The art reminds me of my bad experiences with Paint, and the lip syncing doesn't work out in some places. On the other hand, considering the fact that you're a beginner and so young to boot, it really wasn't so bad. Keep honing your skills! I'm sure with a lot of hard work and some more experience, you could do much better. The sound was okay, by the way :)

Very, very nice. Plot was great, voices were interesting, and the animation wasn't half bad. Of course, making characters move fluidly is always a problem for flash authors, but I don't think that detracted too much from the overall feel of the episode. I can definitely say that episode 1 more than makes up for a cryptic and somewhat random intro :) Great job, and keep up the good work! Looking forward to episode 2!

Hmmm...

As far as intros go, I suppose it wasn't too bad... On the other hand, no characters are actually introduced, you just see flashes of them now and then. And what is the joker guy with the maracas supposed to be? He seems completely random, though I suppose I should start watching Xunmato before I say anything about that. I guess I should just say that your skills at making flash aren't bad, neither is your art, but do try to give a few more clues as to what the flash is about next time you make an intro. Right now all I can figure out is that there might be romance and swordplay somewhere in it...

I agree...

It really does have all the makings of a great flash game. Obviously it'll take a lot of work to make it interactive, but I think the end result will be worth it. Just give the viewer the option of choosing what attacks to make, how they approach the "homework" and "pop quizzes," so they can either succeed or fail on their own. Or, you could allow the player to choose which character he/she wants to be. There are a lot of possibilities with this one. Anyway, regardless of whether you make a sequel or a game, I'm sure everyone will love it. Great job!

That was soooooo cute!

Kawaiii, that was a great flash movie! You guys should seriously think about developing this into a longer series. You have the anime-type graphics down, and your chibis are adorable ^_^. Your music goes very well with things too. Oh yes, and the voice actor fits the character role very well. Much better than some of the trashy "pseudo-anime" flash we see around the site sometimes ::cough cough:: Keep up the good work!

Uh.... terrible art much?

Okay, so I tried to keep an open mind, but the mismatching voices were incredibly annoying (Akane sounds like a man, Ranma sounds like a 6 year old whiny little boy, etc etc), the art was terrible, and the storyline, if there really one, was completely random. I'm sorry, but it really needs a LOT of work. The profiles were BS.

And there is a story line. If you are not specific in your reviews then it's hard for me to understand what you mean and it isn't very constructive or helpful to me. Plus you are coming across as being rather offensive with that whiney 6 year old crack.

You are the only one who has ever stated they didn't like that particular voice EVER and I've done a ton of these.

Akane's was done because I thought it was funny and I don't care if it doesn't sound like her. It shows her true character anyway.

If this was random for you and it just started... then you should not watch the others. If you don't have my cornball sense of humor and take things too seriously you probably wont like this. Sorry.

Maybe when you learn flash you can make something more to your taste. O yeah will happen. Ha hah.

[Arrogancy: Episode One]

Much, much better...

This episode is definitely your best out of the 5 animations you've created so far. You've definitely worked out most of the kinks in the animation, and I have to say, your choice in narrator this time is much, much better. Your graphics and art are definitely much improved. The background music is nice too. Stick with what you have going right now, and I know that you will do very well. Great job, and keep up the good work!!!

You might want to tweak your webside again, though, because a lot of the links you have lead to error messages and unfound pages. It would be really nice if you had character bios, some plot summaries, and the like posted (maybe you do and the links to them just don't work?). Where exactly do you have the preview of the 2nd episode? Thanks for all the hard work!
